The Source:

anon :

The Case:

It is not an awful lot in terms of the information that we are given, but the fact that many corpses were cremated makes it important just the same.

"In Wildgrub - so this Chronicle continues - such ones have not been at rest. At Eastern, many who had been in their graves for years have been dug up and cremated."

And, in case you are wondering, the Chronicle that is mentioned is the "Chronik von Römerstadt".

The Date:

The events are said to have taken place in 1690.

The Place:

Wildgrub has been renamed to "Václavov u Bruntálu" It can be found West of Bruntal.

Possible Follow-Up:

First find the interesting article where I found this case. And then you can go in search of the Chronicle that is mentioned there as the source: "die handschriftliche Chronik von Römerstadt".
